What Our Customers Are Saying

  •  FIFO / Work Travel

I work FIFO and keeping my vials cool while travelling has always been a pain. I was constantly messing around with ice packs and trying to find fridge space once I got to site. This is heaps easier. I charge the batteries before I leave, pack everything into the carry bag and I’m sorted for the trip. Easily one of the most useful things I’ve bought for my setup.

    Daniel Mercer
    Perth WA

  • The extra batteries are awesome

Bought this before a two-week holiday because I didn’t want to spend the whole trip worrying about where I was going to keep my vials cool. It was compact enough to throw in with the rest of my gear and the extra batteries made travelling between places so much easier. Really simple product, but it solved a problem I’d been dealing with for years.

    Michael Harris
    Brisbane QLD

  • Fast Shipping, quality Cooler.

I’m regularly out of the house for long days and didn’t want to rely on carrying a big cooler bag everywhere. This is much more discreet and takes up hardly any room. The carry bag keeps everything together and having the spare batteries in the side pockets is a great touch. Now I just grab it and go.

    Chris Dalton
    Newcastle NSW

FAQs

How long does the battery last?

The full kit includes three removable Power Cells and provides up to 27 hours of portable cooling in total.

Runtime can vary based on the temperature setting, outside temperature, how often the unit is opened and battery condition.

Can I adjust the temperature?

Yes. The touchscreen lets you adjust the temperature from 0–18°C.

Always follow the storage instructions supplied with the item you are carrying.

Does it include batteries?

Yes. Every GymMate™ Protocol Cooler includes three removable 10,200mAh Power Cells—there are no battery upgrades or add-ons required.

Does it need ice packs?

No. The Protocol Cooler uses powered active cooling, so you do not need to freeze, pack or replace ice packs.

What fits inside?

The chamber is designed to fit up to 5 standard 10ml vials, as well as other compact temperature-sensitive essentials that fit within the internal dimensions.

Internal space: 17.8cm deep × 5cm wide.

Can I charge it while using it?

Yes. The unit supports multiple power modes and includes a wall adapter, USB-C power cable and separate battery charging cable.

Is the carry bag included?

Yes. A portable carry bag is included with every Protocol Cooler.

Is it suitable for travelling?

It is designed to be compact and portable for travel. Airline and security requirements for battery-powered devices and spare lithium batteries vary, so always check directly with your airline before flying.

Can I put the whole cooler in checked luggage?

We recommend checking airline rules before travel. Spare lithium batteries are commonly required to travel in carry-on baggage and must be protected against short circuit.

Is this a medical device?

No. The GymMate™ Protocol Cooler is a portable cooling and storage accessory. It is not a medical device and does not replace the storage directions provided by the manufacturer or prescriber of any product placed inside.

What happens if I have an issue with mine?

If there is a problem with your Protocol Cooler, contact the GymMate team with your order number and a short description of the issue. We’ll help get it sorted.
